Our Origin

Born from a love of Kenya, built to give back to it.

Boma Ya Asili began on the Kenyan coast — a discovery made on holiday in Diani that became something far greater. Deep in the villages of Northern Kenya, indigenous aloe is hand-harvested by Maasai women's groups in Samburu, Laikipia and Isiolo.

Partnering with AGAR — Africa Agency for Arid Resources — an award-winning Kenyan company working with pastoralist communities since 2018, every product tells a story of sustainable sourcing, economic empowerment, and the restoration of degraded arid lands.
